Phil Hellmuth's Poker Blog
Phil 'The Poker Brat' Hellmuth has been breaking records at the ongoing World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2007 events at the Rio in Las Vegas.
Since he's he man of the moment, we decided to feature his own poker blog to give us a glimpse of a great poker mind.
Don't you always wish you know what's going on inside a highly skilled poker player? Well, the bloggersphere has given us that very gift. Now more and more poker pros are maintaining their own blogs to: (1) record their own poker adventures and (2) share golden tips to the mere mortals.
Like Phil's blog.
Phil has had nteresting entries, especially during the days leading to his record breaking win to grab his 11th WSOP bracelet, a fete only he has achieved so far:
"It is 3:37 am, and I'm going to have some room service, call my parents at 4:30 am, and then get some sleep. I'm super excited about having a chance at bracelet number 11!!!! A few last thoughts:
1.) I try for my eleventh bracelet on June 11th.
2.) I will give my eleventh bracelet to my youngest sister Molly, who was born 11/11/19XX."
And after he won...
"I was walking on cloud nine for three straight days. However, immediately after winning, I was plotting bracelet number 12..."
And the hours leading to his cashing in for the 60th time, another WSOP record...
"I was up at 12:45 pm, but instead of making my way to the tournament, I watched the US open for over an hour. What the heck, it was great television, and we did start with $6,000 in chips. I arrived at the tournament at around 2:30..."
He had no idea what was coming...
