Daniel Negreanu

Daniel 'Kid Poker' Negreanu is the golden boy of poker. His recent move to Team PokerStars only proved that he is one of the most adored and sought-after players in poker.

Daniel, a native of Toronto, recognized early on that he had a knack for gambling, specfically poker. He was so confident that at the age of 21 he decided to drop out of college - just one credit shy of graduation - and move to Las Vegas to pursue poker full-time.

After two first place finishes at the 1997 World Poker Finals at Foxwoods Casino, Daniel went on to take the world of tournament poker by storm. He now has three (3) World Series of Poker bracelets, two (2) World Poker Tour titles, and more than thirty victories in tournaments across the globe.

He is also 3rd on the list of top money winners with $9,314,464, only behind WSOP champions Jamie Gold (who pocketed $12 million for his win) and Joe Hachem.

In December 2005, he started his own online poker cardroom "skin" site on his official site, Full Contact Poker, which also hosted his blog and a variety of poker forums.With his move to PokerStars, the online poker accounts at FCP follows suit. Although the site will remain to feature his blog and his own 'poker school'.

Daniel currently resides in Las Vegas with his wife, Lori.
